Mine Clicker

  • Mine Clicker is a clicker/incremental game with various things like mining, smithing, and crafting. Each skill has levels and the higher you get those levels the more stuff you unlock to do. If you liked Cookie Clicker you will love this game.

     

    Features

    • Addicting Gameplay.
    • Skills like mining, smithing and crafting.
    • Hire help to give your hand a break(you dont have to if you dont want to).
    • Upgrades to help you get further faster and add stuff to do.

     

    Planned Features

    • Add more skills to expand gameplay.
    • Add a classic mode for people who like a simple game with only 1 tier of materials instead of 6.
    • Add a management mode. In management mode you will have to keep your workers happy, pay them and feed them. More happy the workers are the better they are at working.
    • Add minigames that will link to your main game.
    • Improve the UI.
    I will be constantly updating this game with bug fixes and new content.

      Ummm, scuse me mister pol, What are you doing with this? if it dead or alive? Just wanted to check because I was trying to do something similar in RM lol :p

    • Its very much alive. Were going through the ropes before release so updates are minimal since we got 95% of all the features we want for the base game. Were also in the process of overhauling the entire UI and making it 3D.
      Were planning on a beta release to the humblebundle store by summer time.
      But dont worry about the $2.50 price tag on beta release. I plan on giving the member of GDU a special deal to buy it with points. so start contributing to the site and save up those points to buy the game πŸ˜›

      Well you know I always wanted to get back to Unity so you may have a rival or an ally at some point haha πŸ™‚
      I will gladly buy this whether it be 2D or 3D and I have a few points but it depends how many you want πŸ™‚ but still I would buy both versions just to help out with Dev πŸ™‚

    Nearing Pre-Alpha

    Sorry for not keeping you all up to date lately. This project is still in the works and very much alive. Im still putting a few hours a day into this. Im trying to put 4-8 hours a day into this project since its a commercial game and i have no life right now :P.  I haven't done much work to show anything to you as most of the work i been doing lately has been under the hood. I have created a save system that was easier to make than i thought it was going to be. Sadly i was only able to make it so you can have 1 save per computer user.     New UI Layout

    Not to major of update. Been working on revamping the UI to give it a more modern feel and have everything easier to access. I been also working on a system to hire people and the tiers for gameplay. Heres a sneak peak of the menu so far. Let me know what you think.

    So i started on this project 2 days ago. Right now im working on the very basics like menu design and basic mechanics. Im starting this blog to help me stay active in creating this game and to get feedback on features as they are being made. Later on after i get further in development i will be releasing more info about the game. This is going to be a commercial game but is far from release. All assets are 100% made by the developers on this project. Today i i finished the leveling system for the skills with the help of my good programming buddy ackley14. Going to leave you with a sneak preview of what im working on.     Overhaul

    So far the overhaul is coming along greatly. A few new features will be added to the game that I feel are necessary. You will be able to get an upgrade to get rid of the Equal Work Act, Be able to set how many workers are working in case you don’t want your smithers or crafters to use up all the materials.  I may completely redo the entire worker hire process where you hire workers then can assign them to jobs. So workers will cost money but to assign them to a job they will require the tool(s) for the job.     Updates

    Been really pushing hard to get the game out for pre-alpha testing and id day its coming along greatly. I got the inventory fully done, all the tiers done, crafting nearly done, upgrades got a bit to go, and finally hiring is near finished.  I also updated the game page with a cover image, top image, and a bunch of new info. At the rate im going testers can expect a pre-alpha release in the next few days.  Also gave the game a name finally thanks to bob.
