    Synopsis


    For centuries Gybonis was once a peaceful land where anyone could thrive and live a peaceful life. The family that presided on the land has kept the peace for as long as the residents could remember. But one day an unknown tyrant suddenly took the throne. Without warning, the land suddenly became a dictatorship. This unknown tyrant suddenly took over the entire island, and now everyone lives in fear of one day being captured or tortured by the tyrant. You must travel a long distance to discover the truth of what happened 20 years ago, and stop the tyrant before bad things happen.

    Gybonis Update 12/14/2017

    Happy Holidays everyone.   Yes I'm still around, though sporadic and inconsistency seem to be the main obstacles in my game, along with some rather disinterest. How many times have I said that now? No idea, but I plan to end that now. I have been on and off this game for 18 months, and in that time, what have I done? Well, a complete story script is finished, nearly all maps, complete, or placeholders are in place. And I began eventing.   I haven't had a lot of time lately to actually work on the game. And while I wanted originally to have it finished and published by next week, (yeah right. That's not happening.) instead I've been constantly sidetracked, and mostly struggled to find the inspiration to work on the game and get it done.     It has been over a year since the last time I mentioned anything regarding my game. Truthfully, I had lost interest for awhile in the game. Feeling like I was stuck considering my maps looked bad. They in a way still do, but I hopefully will be able to get better at them.   This blog post is to mention the game is not dead, but just stalled in development hell at the moment. I am planning on finishing the game, although it is very slow going at the moment.     Minor update post here.   I have included a new minigame simulating millionaire, except you don't lose after one question. You instead get half your winnings taken away. And I am working to see if I can make any improvements in the lottery system I made.   Not much for this one. Just an informative post.

    I honestly thought I was going to be posting this much earlier, but certain events in my real life had gotten in the way and that has slowed down production.  I must admit though, I think I'm progressing a bit slower than I'd like to. Mostly due to the fact that as one person I seem to be getting burned out more quickly with the mapping. I can only think up so much before I start to run out of ideas. As such that is becoming a problem for me, I think I might want to enlist help from someone else. But that isn't necessary yet. I will be brief here, as I want to do some work tonight before bed.  Basically I've had to redo about 30 maps because I didn't like them and I had inspiration for new ones.     Well, we all have to start somewhere.  Greetings everyone. If you are reading this, then I was successful at publishing this game page for my game. Now it's barebones now, simply because no demo is ready and not any part of the mapping is anywhere near done. This is mostly an introduction post to inform you guys of this project, and what I plan to do with it, as well as the plan ahead for development.  The Game Might as well start with the game idea itself.
