Hello ladies and gentlemen and welcome back to the Machine Made: Rebirth blog! Today we'd like to share with you some super special news, we're going to be pimping out our page at indiedb and hopefully we're going be be gakking out another update before too long, like a regurgitated meal that I fondly remember, I'll be combing through the progress I've made over the next few days and hopefully coming up with something appetizing!
How to make your own animation using sprites and show picture — use your photoshop tool or photoshop equivalent to grab various positions and graphics for the sprite you want to use, create a series of move picture commands and change the sprite at appropriate intervals — now you have your very own animation happening!
Just how many sweet applications are there for this? Well… have a look at the title page for Machine Made: Rebirth, where we use the walking graphic sprites for our two MCs to create a short animation… these sprites haven't been changed in any way, they've just been positioned and moved around picture to picture.
