Justice in Unity

  • Description:

The story of a lone-wolf French Detective, Elliot Mortensen, and his life after having a partner forced onto him. Starts out as a comedy and ends in tragedy, so to speak.

The game is made in RPG Maker VX Ace, however, is mostly story-driven. There are quite a few long segments where all the player gets to do is progress the text boxes, but there are also parts where the player gets to move around, so hey.

The game tries to set itself with some basis in reality, but since I don't follow the news (especially not for France), there aren't many references to important historical events and such unless they're totally fabricated for the sake of this timeline/world's plot (ex. a self-destructive "war" in Russia that people call the beginning of World War III. Not at all true in reality, but it's going on in this game's world. Given, it's not important to this game in particular, and in fact is never even mentioned here, but there's some fun facts for you.)

    Features

    • At least a 3-hr long plot
    • Multiple endings
    • Custom character portraits created with MikuMikuDance and FaceGen
    • Voice acting
    • Music from other games and such. All composers I could figure out the names of are credited.
    • Sound effects, mostly from FreeSound
    • Scripts from various popular RPG Maker VX Ace scripters
    • A custom-made game manual
    • Support for GameJolt's Trophy system (Thanks to Florian van Strien for adapting the GameJolt API to RPG Maker VX Ace!)

Wow Yanfly, some of the scripts I used from his website really helped out when it comes to the interactiveness of the world I present you to explore, I like his work a lot.

Amazing work, I wish I could do things as amazing as what Mog here has created in RGS3. He pretty much created my battle system and title screen, and a few other things that you'll need to see for yourself!

His scripts really helps deepen the battle system of this game, and I wouldn't be able to have made some of the characters possible to play without the scripts he supplied me with.
