Insanitalia

  • Storyline

     

    Insanitalia–a Hetalia fangame. An ongoing project.

     

    A twisted, adventure, tension-filled, action-horror genre following our protagonist: the personification of the USA, Alfred F. Jones. Decades of life as a national representative, an entire existence of constancy, is suddenly thrown into panic and disarray as a greater force enters the picture… something that can't quite be solved with the usual bundle of paperwork.

     

    If you've watched Hetalia, you'll know what's up.

     

    Features… (not completed yet, as there will be updates)

    • Smaller, cozier maps that are easy to travel. Highly interactive, and complete with lighting.
    • A customised menu, optimised through various public scripts.
    • Facesets/Busts and beautifully done "screenshots" that illustrate dramatic moments in the game.
    • A cast of 5-10 main characters.
    • A cast of original (but not-so-original?) antagonists.
    • A two-years-old story that's continually improving and growing.

     

    An alpha demo was released May of last year… it's super old, and we're currently working to upgrade it for the first episode:

      Looks different from the default RMXP menu, doesn't it? (Some of the overlap with text is currently being fixed.)

      A café in the early hours of the morning. Either the lights are off, or the lower half of the room must get terrible lighting.

    Development Progress – Half a Year Later.

    After winter holidays, what with school starting up again and the orchestra already demanding perfection for the upcoming concert, I realised I'm not going to be so active on GDU as I was during the holidays. So might as well post a blog to explain what's going on with development for this game.  I'm not even sure if Insanitalia qualifies to be on GDU. It's a game and it qualifies by that alone, I'm sure, but I haven't seen fan games on this site as of yet.
