My biggest gripe with the Games Section is the customization(or lack thereof for this kind of website everywhere). I'd like to be able to create and arrange modules in the landing page, that way I'd can manage what I want the viewer to see and where to focus their attention. Something like I want to move the screenshots area to be a vertical section on the right and have announcements at the center top. Much like features that already exist for the drag and drop/snap fit website builders. Minor improvements for existing things include being able to adjust the position of title image and being able use a custom preview image(currently just uses the left edge of the title image).

Actually, would it be better to not have a level limit and the exp required to level up to be a constant (rather than increasing per level). The constant should be a relatively reasonable amount(10-15 equivalent of posts). This way newcomers and long time users will have a constant growth in levels instead of slowing down as you level up. This will reflect a user's activity frequency more accurately at higher levels(the previous exp requirement would make long time users to post a lot more compared to new users to gain 1 level).

Sounds good since it measures the general metrics that determine a user's activity and influence.

Oh i didn't think it would. I was just wondering what were the future plans for those pages. Stuff like will it be updated or will the games page have links to posts that are related to it.

Out of curiosity, what will happen to the existing game pages?

Well, the big filter button on the front page is a start. If it provided more customization options(including the ones i've mentioned) rather than just the post type, it would be infinitely easier to find the content I want. I wouldnt have to navigate to a lot of pages, I could do it all in the frontpage.

Filter by games/tags/authors Would be great if I could go through just things that I want to see.

Hello fellow aspiring and veteran game devs and the like! I myself am from a beautiful country called New Zealand. If you haven't noticed already, I've been setting up my game's home over here. I actually didn't realise this was RMXP Unlimited that I use to visit when I was playing around RMXP. I've always just been a lurker, never actually made an account. :oops: GDU is surprisingly easy to make a home for my game. Thanks for having this place! It was basically what I was looking for. :thumbsup: Also give a look at my work, Ascension, even give it a play with some friends. :excited: I'm actually trying to gather a few people to play my game together.
