GDU Sorta got hacked.

Hi guys

 

I was trying to fix something on the site after months of not really being on the server, and I've discovered files were put on the server to hack the site.

 

In particular, they probably had full access to the database because they uploaded DB related tools.

 

However, it doesn't seem site-specific. More like a server hack. Meaning that although the server was breached, it is unlikely someone actually has an interest in taking or destroying the site.

 

I will contact my host provider and see if they can provide details.

I'm not sure. Potentially none. Potentially the entire database. They loaded DB tools to view the database onto the server, but I don't know if they were able to access it. 

 

All passwords and things are encrypted and would be very safe.

That's crazy! If we find them can their punishment be doing all the beta testing for machine made: rebirth? I can't imagine this interrupting anything Marked, I had one sort of screwy popup show up about two months ago and that's the only difference in service that I've experienced. I had no idea if it was my browser or something from the site. Thanks for letting us know anyways... any news would be appreciated.
